Valerie Ziel, LCSW
Valerie earned her Master’s degree at NYU and she has been working in the clinical field for almost 10 years. She has worked with clients experiencing loss, depression, anxiety, addictive behavior, personality disorders and those struggling to negotiate transitional periods in their personal and professional lives. Some of her post-graduate training has been in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Suicide Prevention.
Valerie believes that her role as a therapist is to help her clients achieve their goals. She believes people come to therapy because they want to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives and she is dedicated to helping her clients get there.
